Our commitment
ELEV8 Sport & Education is committed to the safety and welfare of all children and young people who take part in our sessions. We believe every child has the right to take part in football in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment, protected from harm.
Safe recruitment & checks
All of our coaches hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and are recruited following safer-recruitment practices. Coaches are familiar with this policy and their responsibilities under it.
Roles & reporting
We have a designated person responsible for safeguarding. Any concern about a child's welfare — whether raised by a parent, player, or coach — will be taken seriously, recorded, and acted upon, including referral to children's social care or the police where appropriate.
Medical & emergency information
Parents provide medical and emergency contact information for each child. Coaches are given access to this information only for the sessions a child is attending, so they can respond appropriately in an emergency.
Code of conduct
- Coaches treat all children with respect and dignity
- We maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid being alone with a child wherever possible
- Physical contact is limited to what is necessary for coaching and safety
- Bullying, discrimination and abuse of any kind are not tolerated
Photography
Photographs and video are only taken with parental consent and used solely for coaching or promotional purposes. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
